Terms of Service
Effective date: October 23, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and The One Perfect Solution LLC ("we", "us"), based in Gilbert, Arizona, for your use of the Dinklet app and the website at dinklet.com (together, "Dinklet"). By creating an account or using Dinklet, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Dinklet.
"Dinklet" is our working name. The brand may change; these terms still apply under a new name.
1. Who can use Dinklet
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- If you are under 18, you may use Dinklet only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you and is responsible for your use, including your participation in any game or event.
- You may not use Dinklet if we have previously banned you, or if the law does not allow you to.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple. Keep that account secure. Use your real name or a name people know you by, and do not pretend to be someone else. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at support@dinklet.com if you think someone else is using it.
3. What Dinklet is, and what it isn't
Dinklet helps players find games, courts, coaches and events, and helps hosts organize them. Dinklet is a tool. We do not run games or tournaments, we do not own or operate courts, and we do not employ hosts or coaches. We do not check people's identity, background, skill ratings or qualifications, and we do not inspect courts or venues. Court information comes partly from OpenStreetMap and from other players, and may be wrong or out of date.
4. Hosting games and events
If you host a game, tournament or group, you are responsible for it. That includes:
- Giving accurate details (time, place, format, skill level and fee).
- Having the right to use the courts or venue, and following its rules.
- Running the event fairly and safely, and keeping scores and results honest.
- Collecting any fee yourself, and handling refunds, taxes and any permits or insurance your event needs.
- Only adding people to your event who agreed to join.
5. Fees and payments
Dinklet is free for players. Dinklet does not process payments. Any fee shown for a game or event is set by the host and paid directly to the host by whatever method they choose (for example Venmo, Zelle or cash). "Paid" marks in the app are self-reported and are not proof of payment. Any payment, refund or dispute about money is between players and hosts. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for it.
6. Physical activity and assumption of risk
Pickleball is a physical sport and can cause injury. Risks include falls, strains, sprains, fractures, eye injuries from balls or paddles, heat illness, heart problems and, rarely, serious injury or death. Court conditions, weather, equipment and other players can add to these risks.
By using Dinklet to find or join any game, event or lesson, you agree that:
- You take part voluntarily and at your own risk, and you accept these risks.
- You are responsible for deciding whether you are fit to play. Talk to a doctor if you are unsure.
- You will use proper equipment, stay hydrated, and follow venue rules and safe play.
- To the fullest extent the law allows, The One Perfect Solution LLC is not responsible for any injury, illness, loss or damage that happens at or travelling to any game, event, lesson or venue you find through Dinklet.
7. Your content
"Your content" means anything you add to Dinklet: your profile, photo, messages, events, coach listing, courts, scores and so on. You keep ownership of it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display and share your content as needed to run, promote and improve Dinklet (for example, showing your name on a roster, or showing your event to nearby players). This license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies other players rely on (such as messages already sent in a chat or past results), and copies in backups for a short time.
You promise you have the right to post your content, and that it does not break these terms or the law.
8. Community rules
Dinklet is for organizing pickleball and connecting with players. You agree not to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone.
- Post hate speech or attack people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or similar traits.
- Post sexual content, graphic violence, or anything illegal.
- Send spam, scams, chain messages or unwanted advertising.
- Impersonate someone, or misrepresent yourself, your skill or your ratings to mislead others.
- Create fake games, events, groups, courts or coach listings.
- Share someone else's private information without their permission.
- Hack, scrape, overload or interfere with Dinklet, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report players and messages and block other players in the app. We review reports, aiming to do so within 24 hours. We may remove any content and warn, suspend or ban any account that breaks these rules, at our discretion and without notice.
9. Coaches
Coach listings are created by the coaches themselves. We do not verify certifications, background, insurance or experience. Any lesson, its price and its terms are agreed directly between you and the coach.
10. DUPR and other third-party services
Dinklet works with services run by other companies, including Google and Apple sign-in, Google Firebase, OpenStreetMap, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, maps apps and DUPR. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for them.
DUPR features (rating sync and result submission) are optional and may not always be available. DUPR ratings are calculated by DUPR, not by us, and we do not guarantee they are accurate or up to date. Results are sent to DUPR only for events where the host turned this on and you were told before joining.
11. Featured and sponsored content
Dinklet may show featured gear and events, some of which are sponsored. Some links go to outside stores or event pages, and we may earn money from some of them. We do not sell those products or run those events, and we are not responsible for them. Buy and register at your own judgment.
12. Our rights in Dinklet
Dinklet's app, design, name, logo and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use Dinklet for your own personal, non-commercial use and to organize games and events. You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer or build a competing service from it. Court data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database License. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely.
13. Ending your account
You can stop using Dinklet and delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Settings → Delete account) or on the web. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if it is needed to protect other users, or if we stop offering Dinklet. Sections 5 to 7 and 10 to 18 continue to apply after your account ends.
14. Disclaimers
Dinklet is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises of any kind, express or implied, including that Dinklet will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the accuracy of events, courts, ratings, scores or any content posted by users or third parties. We are not responsible for the conduct of any player, host, coach or venue, online or offline.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, The One Perfect Solution LLC and its owners, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Dinklet or from any game, event, lesson, payment or dispute with another user. Our total liability for any claim relating to Dinklet is limited to US $100. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
16. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of your content, an event you hosted, or your breaking of these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including legal fees, to the extent the law allows.
17. Disputes and governing law
If you have a problem with Dinklet, please email us first at support@dinklet.com and give us 30 days to try to fix it informally. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any legal case must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead.
18. General
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Dinklet. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
App stores. If you got Dinklet from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for Dinklet or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow the app store's own terms.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Dinklet after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
